I was searching for something else, but saw this video, came here to say outright that this video is complete Bull$hit. Its been almost 3 years owning Omen 15 without any issue, I think this was put to gain some views, spread misinformation and cry about silly things (keyboard light? good thermal but fan noise?). To this date I have not found a game that can't be played on this device with ultra/high settings, giving 70+ fps. (Btw I have Omen 15 Ryzen 7 5800H + RTX 3060 that comes with keyboard light customization, no mux switch but I have 4k monitor to which it has direct output from graphics card).

While I agree with a bit of this video, there is some wrong information in here.16gb is the max HP ships it with.. but the processor and chipset can support up to 64GB (I sit here on my 2022 HP victus, i5-12500h with rtx3050 running 64gb right now, typing on it.. ). That said, the ram thing is the only actually wrong thing I'm seeing here. I have the larger battery, and I do see 6 hours watching youtube videos on it. I also have the dgpu configured to only run on certain applications (games)... and run basic usage off the igpu. It makes a HUGE difference in battery life. Lack of mux switch - real budget move there. Also, if you use a usb C to DP cable, its going through the intel video as well, but the hdmi is tied directly to the nvidia card... Fan noise - very accurate, and it's high pitched. That said, running passmark I score higher than a 13500h in cpumark and stp scores... thanks to that loud cooling. The 512gb nvme was sluggish on writes. Mine shipped with a kioxia stick, and it wasn't impressing me. I replaced it with a 1TB WD sn850x and see right at 6Gb/s reads and writes on this laptop in crystaldiskmark. Screen wobble - yes, it's there. It's also something I don't particularly notice when I'm just casually using it. Maybe if I was going insane with my mouse I might see some movement... but I dont play games that requires fast twitching, so it's something that will have various effects depending on how you use the laptop. Other annoying cost cutting measures they took... no TB support on the USB port. It's only a 150 Watt power brick, but no USB PD (USB PD 3.1 came out in 2021, with support up to 240 Watts over usb C... this 150 is well within the capabilities of the tech that was present at the time of introduction). As for color accuracy.. who is actually doing color sensitive work on a tiny 15.6" screen? Every graphics designer I know is running at least a 27" external monitor for this type work.

Had a really bad experience with MSI Laptop. The laptop surface and keys on the left side heats up extremely. So much heat that it becomes unsafe to touch. And the company is not taking their responsibility for this. Bought it in May 2023 This is the laptop: MSI Core i7 11th Gen - (16 GB/1 TB HDD/256 GB SSD /Windows 11 Home/4 GB Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650) GF63 Thin 11SC-1298IN Gaming Laptop Their support , technical and warranty team in India has a very very poor performance. They do not understand the seriousness of this issue as it can really hurt the user and many of them are kids. Extremely Disappointed in MSI. Its a genuine review. Not expecting any money back, but just want to spread the words for the safety of people.

I am doing calibration through msi dragon center . But there is a problem that my laptop suddenly shuts down Below 30 percent i don't know why, but it always shuts do below 30 percent, sometimes on 29 percent, sometimes on 25 percent etc so my calibration is not completed , what should i do ??? Is this the problem with my battery calibration? Or my battery is total waste now?? Can any one give suggestion??

Hello my dear friends, Greetings to all of you, Could someone please assist me with the following question that has been weighing on my mind for quite some time? I have been dealing with an annoying problem with my Acer Predator Helios 300 laptop, which I bought around 2 years ago with an RTX 3070. The issue is with the RGB (Red / Green / Blue) lights not turning on when I start up the laptop. Despite contacting Acer customer support multiple times, they have been unhelpful & inexperienced, instructing me to format & reinstall Windows 4 times without success. I also attempted using the Fn key + F9 to light up the RGB, but that didn't work either. Someone informed me that I need to replace the Acer keyboard at the service center. Personally, I believe that not the entire keyboard is faulty as the other keys are working fine. What steps can I take to resolve this problem? Do you have any advice or recommendations for me? I've bought last year i5 12450h 3050 variant, it really works very smooth, I especially bought for coding and video editing, after using it almost 11 months literally it's the best laptop because I've tested Data engineering using Pyspark , Machine Learning, Web development workload like React ,Flask etc in this machine ....and premiere pro illustrator 3d modelling, photoshop everything i tested it's smoothly worked But i didn't play game here , But you are true storage is a bit less 512gb will mostly occupy within 2 years that's why pendrive and external drive required

This laptop series (victus) have a massive problem and nobody talks about it. The battery drains when turned off, on average 4-10% a day. I have had many laptops and never had such problem. What's the point in having a laptop if battery is always drained?

I had the g15 model and the motherboard has just crapped out...affecting everything from not posting every time on boot, booting ok but dropping display altogether when loading windows screen - however, when an hdmi cable is connected it shows the system running just fine...and then when quoted AU$1100 to replace the mobo, i found a factory refurbished a15 for AU$1300 so yeah, I got the a15 instead of replacing the dodgy mobo with another. So far, im not really noticing any real difference in performance - i play destiny 2, call of duty, snowrunner, arma 3, diablo 4 and automobilista 2. My g15 got very hot so i think that particular mobo was just a dud.
